Ah, springtime! The season we all look forward to. Spring means that winter is over and hope for those new buds of life are right around the corner. The sun stays out longer and there seems to be a sense of expecation in the air. At CCC, we're excited for what this spring is ushering in. From baptisms, anniversary celebrations, and Easter — this Spring is cause for celebration! So if you're ready to shed your winter layers, both literally and figuratively, and introduce some hope and expectation into your soul — then get involved with what's happening this spring at CCC.
On Friday, April 14th we invite you and your family to join us for a Good Friday service at 7PM in the Youth Center. Together, we'll reflect on the transforming message of the cross; a message of hope and redemption described in Isaiah 53:5
"He was wounded for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was placed upon him and by his wounds we are healed."
This year's Good Friday service is open to the whole family and will take the place of our regularly scheduled first Wednesday of the month Prayer and Praise Night. Childcare is available as well if you register by clicking below.
Whether you're an occasional churchgoer or a totally sold out believer, there's nothing quite like Easter; and once again this year at CCC we're looking forward to celebrating the resurrection of Jesus!
We've scheduled two powerful Easter services for you — on Sunday, April 16th at 9AM & 11AM. Both services will re-tell the dramatic Easter Story we know so well in a fresh and creative way. The presenation includes both music and drama as well as an inspirational presentation of the gospel message.
And here's a little something to keep in mind: did you know that most people will attend a church service at Easter time if they're invited? Why not pick up a few invitation cards (available the 1st weekend in April) from our Welcome Desk? Then, pass them out like crazy! Who knows? This just might be a life-changing Easter for someone you love and care about.
